What is a pop up wedding? A pop up wedding is an affordable, fun and fresh option for couples to say "I do" or "I do, again". It entails the main things you would expect at a wedding ceremony but condensed into a short amount of time, approximately 2 hours. It's fast becoming a popular alternative to a registry, elopement or traditional style wedding all over the world.

How many guests can we invite?

For our pop up wedding events, you can have just the two of you or even 100 guests. We'll only limit the number of people to what the venue can physically hold. How awesome is that!

Do you cater for same sex couples?

Yes we certainly do! Love is love and in New Zealand same sex marriages are legal, we are proud supporters of marriage equality.

What do we need to prepare legally for the wedding?

For a legal wedding in New Zealand, you will need to apply for your marriage licence which can be done up to 3 months before the date of your wedding and then once received send it to us to pass on to your celebrant.

How do we book?

To secure your venue, date & time we require a $1000 non refundable deposit and a signed copy of our Terms & Conditions. Then your final balance is required 30 days prior to your wedding date or you can pay the full amount up front. Contact us and let us know which option you are interested in and we'll get it all sorted for you.

Can we add on to our package?

Yes! We can add on lots of additional services to personalise your day, whether it be a stunning wedding car, videographer, food & drinks and more. Visit our Packages page for more information or Contact us to discuss further.

Can we visit the venue before the wedding?

Some of the venues are privately owned which means they may only be able to be viewed via their website. Other venues are more open to the public so you can go and check them out. Just ask us if you are not sure.

What if it rains on the day?

Rain or shine, you'll have a great day no matter what and all our venues have an undercover option if need be so you don't have to worry.

Is there an option to have a reception at the venue?

Yes, most of the venues can also host a reception for the last time slot of the day (eg. 4pm wedding ceremony) which we can help to organise with the venue for you. Alternatively, we can help you organise a reception or cocktail reception at another venue or place on your wedding day as well.

Do we get to choose the ceremony styling?

For the ceremony styling, as part of our service we manage the decor and venue styling for each event so it is one less thing you have to think about on the day. We aim to have simple but elegant styling and decor with a few things that we can do in a colour of your choice from the options available, but we like to be able to surprise our couples when they arrive to the venue and see it for the first time. You get to choose the type of flowers you would like with the florist from the options available.
